7 Homemade & Healthy Fruit Popsicles Recipes For Kids
During hot weather, kids tend to crave for something cold and sweet. Popsicles are itself cool and refreshing and when we add fruits, it becomes more nutritious.
Homemade popsicles allows you to add essential nutrients such as fiber, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, probiotics and control the quantity of ingredients. This is the best option to prepare homemade and healthy fruit popsicles using fresh and natural ingredients.

1. Fruit Popsicles
Children who do not like or eat enough fruits, these healthy fruit popsicles are perfect for them. Chopped it finely and serve it with love!
Ingredients –
- 1 Cup Coconut Water
- 1 Small Kiwi
- 2-3 Tsp Pomegranate
- 5-6 Grapes
- 3-4 Tsp Mango
- 2 Tsp Soaked Chia Seeds
- Honey as required (Optional)
- Blender
- Popsicle Maker
Method –
Crack a fresh coconut and take out the water in a bowl. Start peeling and cutting all the fruits. Cut or chop all the fruits in a very small size.
Add all the fruits and soaked chia seeds (Skip honey if, baby is below than 1 year and blend all the fruits properly to avoid choking risk.)
Mix it well and pour the mixture in the popsicle molds. Let it sit in the freezer for 4-5 hours or overnight. Unmold the fruit popsicles and enjoy with your loved ones.
2. Orange Popsicles
This recipe is rich in Vitamin C, which support immunity and good for eye sight.
Ingredients –
- 4-5 Fresh Oranges or Kinoo
- 2 Tbsp Honey
- 1/2 Lemon
- 1 Tsp Orange Zest
- Baby Food Blender
- Popsicle Molds
Method –
Take fresh oranges or kinoo and extract the juice from a juicer or in a baby food blender, blend all the oranges. For the smooth texture or market like taste, strain the juice.
Add honey in the juice and mix it until honey is fully dissolved.
Now add orange zest made by grating the outermost orange skin of an orange. Squeeze half lemon and give a good mix.
Pour the mixture into the BPA free mold and freeze it for 4-5 hours or overnight.
Place the mold under normal water to demold the popsicles easily.
3. Watermelon Popsicles
Watermelon popsicles are ideal for hydration and hot weather. These popsicles are so yum, my daughter personally loves it so much.
Ingredients –
- Coconut Water
- 2 Cup Watermelon
- 1/2 Cup Pomegranate (Optional)
- Mint Leaves as required
- 1 Tsp Chia Seeds
- 2 Lemons
- Black Salt
- BPA Free Mold
- Popsicle Maker
Method –
Take out the water from coconut. From watermelon, take out all the seeds. In a blender, add coconut water, watermelon and pomegranate.
Wash and add few mint leaves. Blend the ingredients and strain in a different bowl.
Now, add soaked chia seeds, lemon juice and black salt to taste. Mix well and pour it in BPA free popsicle maker. Freeze it for maximum 3-4 hours.
Pour normal water to demold the popsicles easily and enjoy.

4. Electrolyte Popsicles
Electrolyte rich coconut popsicles are healthy for the little ones. This will keep your baby hydrated during the hot weather.
Ingredients –
- Fresh Coconut Water
- 1 Tsp Pre-Soaked Basil or Sabja Seeds
- 1 Medium Lemon
- 1/2 Tsp Salt & Honey
- Popsicle Molds
Method –
Take fresh coconut water in a bowl or shaker. Add basil seeds, honey and salt. Skip salt and honey for babies below than 1 year.
Squeeze a fresh lemon in the coconut water. Shake it well and pour the mixture into popsicle molds.
Freeze it for 5-6 hours or overnight. Unmold these refreshing popsicles and enjoy with your little human.
5. Pomegranate Popsicles
These popsicles are full of antioxidants and naturally sweet.
Ingredients –
- 3 Medium Pomegranate
- 1 Tsp Honey or Sugar
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- Popsicle Molds
Method –
wash and take out all the pomegranate seeds. In a blender, add lemon juice, honey or sugar, salt and pomegranate seeds.
Skip honey or sugar and salt for babies below than 1 year.
Blend it well and pour the mixture in the popsicle molds. Let it freeze for 5-6 hours or overnight.
Unmold the popsicles by pouring normal water over it and enjoy!!

Ingredients –
- 1 Cup Frozen Berries
- 1 Ripe Banana
- 1/2 Cup Normal or Coconut Water
- 1 Tbsp Honey (Optional)
- Blender
- Ice cream or Popsicle Maker
Method –
Wash all the berries, dry it gently and freeze it for 8-9 hour or overnight.
OR
In a blender, pour frozen berries, banana and water of your choice with honey which is completely optional. Blend it until you get smooth texture.
Transfer the mixture to an ice cream or popsicle molds. Freeze for 3-4 hours. Unmold it by pouring little water and enjoy these delicious popsicles.
7. Mango Popsicles

- 1 Large Ripe Mango
- 4-5 Cashews
- 1 Cup Fresh Coconut Water

Method –
Crack the coconut and pour the water in a blender. Wash the ripe mango and scoop the pulp.
Add mango pulp and cashews in a blender. Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy texture.
