2-year-old child are so much fun and hard at the same tie. This stage is simple, playful, and part of daily life but they still need help.
Toddlers learn mostly through imitation, stories, songs, and routine. Since you are already teaching toddlers at home, here is a complete learning list for a 2-year-old that includes manners, motor skills, safety, festivals, and many more things.
What to Teach Two Year Old?
1. Alphabets
Young children get curious over small things. Learning alphabets can be one of them.
These kids do not know how to spell and know the sounds of all the letters. But they can recognize alphabets at this age. Later on, make them learn letters with the help of these letters.
2. Counting
Make a routine of counting. Count the things when playing and count the steps while walking can be fun.
My daughter started counting before 2 and now, count 123 while dancing, walk up the steps and playing.
3. Coloring
At this stage, toddlers can learn colors name but, will be confused in recognizing by their name.
Make play doughs to teach them colors. By mixing corn starch, water and edible color. You can make different colors of balls and help them teach.

Academic skills can be improve or enhance on daily basis in a creative way. Help them to learn one new word everyday. Increase it one to two and two to three words. This will help in growing vocabulary.
Sing a song with a new word, point out on certain things, use a new word while playing and dancing, or name objects as you do them.
9. Reading A Book
While doing this, you can easily remember your own childhood. And being a parent, you just want to lay down with your toddler and read a book. But they are in different mood, where they just want to
see the pictures and turn all the pages, not ready to settle, asking you questions, or want to read the book on their own.
I know it can be super frustrating, but you should not give up. Try to switch you timing’s or when they are on a stable place.
